On April 1, 2008 The Plant Recording Studios in Sausalito closed its doors. Because Plant Mastering was housed in the same facility as the recording studios, the mastering suite was also forced to close.
In 2007, when the pending closure of The Plant was made known to me, I designed and built a mixing and mastering studio in my home in the Oakland hills. Employing many of the same pieces of mastering equipment that I used at The Plant, I also made a sizable investment in equipment designed specifically for mixing. To date I have mixed and mastered many projects in my new studio, Digital Therapy Lab, for artists like Joe Satriani and Aaron Neville.
Currently I'm in the process of building a new website with an ftp page to enable clients to send and retrieve their projects via the Internet. For now I'm asking clients to mail or FedEx their files on DVDs. You can send me your files and any notes on sequence or concerns about a mix to:

The turn-around time for a ten-track CD is approximately ten business days. I charge $75.00 per track for mastering, payable after you receive your first reference CD. You will receive a reference CD and one revision if necessary. Any additional revisions made to the mastering will be $100 each. All my work is guaranteed. After you approve a reference I will provide you or your pressing plant with a DDP master for replication.
