Sometime clients have short pieces of music or sound effects they wish to use between tracks. If these pieces are shorter then 30 seconds there is no charge for mastering them provided they are part of a larger CD project.
A reference CD is an example of the final product for you to evaluate. Once a reference has been approved, a master will be made for replication.
After you receive your first reference you may want to make a change to the sequence, delete a track or request a change with the mastering. The per-track rate above includes one free revision and you will receive a second reference CD for approval. Any additional revision work will be charged at a rate of
$75.00 per hour.
In some cases transferring an all-digital project to analog tape can smooth out the top end and add a little warmth to the overall sound. For this process I use an Ampex ATR-102 ˝” tape recorder running at 15 or 30ips. The ATR-102 has been the two-track of choice in professional recording studios for 30 years.

A DDP file set is an error–protected wrapper format specifically designed for reliable optical disc replication. DDP or “Disc Description Protocol” is the industry standard method for delivering all of the data and metadata needed for disc replication to a “pressing plant.” Unlike audio CDs, DDP file sets contain error–protected audio data plus all ancillary metadata or, “data about the data.” If your replication company can’t accept a DDP as the master or if you have ordered CD-TEXT I will provide you with a PMCD master. Additional masters are $25.00 each.
It's importiant that all the meta data is included in your MP3. $5.00 EACH
